The Flint Rehab Virtual Physical Therapy program is a home based rehab program where our rehab specialists from Flint Rehab will provide personalized home exercise programs and guidance to help you to continue therapy from the comfort of your home (or anywhere else) remotely. The program is covered by Medicare and will provide affordable home rehab for those looking to continue their recovery outside of inpatient services. 

Remote Therapeutic Monitoring is covered by most health insurance including Medicare and Medicaid. Before enrolling in the program, we will ensure and work with your insurance provider to make sure you are covered.

Virtual physical therapy is for individuals looking to continue their rehab at home because their insurance benefits have run out or they are trying to get additional rehab in between in person appointments. It is appropriate for all neurorehab with a focus on conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's, and more.

To enroll in Flint Rehab's virtual physical therapy program, you must apply as we have limited space and some restrictions on location. To apply, please submit the form above with all the necessary health information. Once we review the information, we will reach out to schedule a screening interview and determine whether the program is appropriate for you based on your insurance information and health condition.

Currently, there is no limit to the amount of virtual physical therapy an individual can receive. However, most extended programs will last 6 months before you are reevaluated to determine eligibility.
